Description

This rug is a unique piece of world art that will enhance your living space. Sumak rugs refer to a style of rug called flat weave that has no knots used in the weaving process and the surface looks flat. The warp strands are used as the foundation and the weft strands are used as both part of the foundation and in creating the patterns. The weft strands are simply woven through the warp strands. The rug is 100-percent silk. The knot count is 220 knots per square inch. The colors in the rug include ivory, red, gold, brown and Light Blue .

We had an amazing experience with Cyrus, Pablo, and David— they went above and beyond and were so patient with helping us find the perfect rugs for our small spaces. They really know everything about every rug (and there are so many!) and clearly are passionate about what they do. We got a beautiful rug for our tiny dining area and a stair runner as well.
