Rust Vintage Persian Reversible Kilim Flat Weave 5'X14'

Description

In the Iranian Province of Fars, small villages around the city of Shiraz constantly carpet-weave. Carpets from Shiraz resemble the common grandeur of all Persian rugs; however, because of the diverse nature of Shiraz due to events such as migration, rugs from Shiraz are occasionally similar to those from Qashqai, Khamseh, Basseri, Afshar, Abadeh and Luri. Regardless, Shiraz carpets still retain a sense of originality and distinctiveness since nearly all of them are handmade as opposed to being made commercially in factories. They are large, often coarse, use a fixed loom, possess symmetrical knots, and are made to sell. Consequently, Shiraz rugs are ever in demand, attested from their sales popularity worldwide.

? Choosing the right rug can transform your living room!

Size matters: Make sure your rug fits the seating area all furniture legs should rest on it or at least the front legs.
Style & color: Pick a rug that complements your furniture. Neutral rugs work well for bold furniture, while colorful rugs add vibrancy to neutral rooms.
Material: For high-traffic areas, choose durable materials like wool or synthetic fibers.
Texture: Plush rugs add warmth, while flat-weave rugs are easier to maintain.

GEORGE Constantinople

I was walking by Pasargad this week when I was stopped in my tracks by a beautiful 13' x 9' rug hanging in the window. Since I have worked with Pasargad before and know the excellent quality of their rugs and the exceptionally knowledgable and kind staff, I went right in, spoke to Cyrus, and again he advised me extremely well! I purchased the rug right away. Three days later, after the special rug pad had arrived from NYC, Muhammad and Pablo came to my apartment to deliver the rug and set it in place. They were simply excellent!!! They removed some furniture from my living room with great care before laying out the pad and rug. They were very patient and precise in their work and definitely knew what they were doing. The rug is now the "star" of my living room and only Pasargad with its "five stars" can top that!!! I am very grateful to Pasargad and recommend it very highly!!!
