Suzani Decorative Pillow Cover
● True to the “needle” origin of the Persian word suzani, these pillows are embroidered with traditional floral motifs in richly coloured patterns that define this historic style.
consists of a combination of needle and manual labor.
Local graphic artists draw patterns on silk or cotton fabrics. All these patterns, shapes and lines have different names. Up to their sizes, these patterns are strecthed pulley or counter. If the patterns are detailed, processing period might last months. Pure silk threads processed on silk fabric.
We had an amazing experience with Cyrus, Pablo, and David— they went above and beyond and were so patient with helping us find the perfect rugs for our small spaces. They really know everything about every rug (and there are so many!) and clearly are passionate about what they do. We got a beautiful rug for our tiny dining area and a stair runner as well.
