Beautiful Navy Blue Background Antique Persian Sarouk Farahan Area Rug, Origin: Persia, Circa date: 1900 – This gorgeous antique Persian Sarouk Farahan rug has a classic design that is perfect for today’s style trends. Persian rugs continue to find their way into a wide range of interior styles from traditional to contemporary. In the late 18th century, these now antique rugs were designed for those who are more affluent and connoisseurs of fine carpets. These rugs blended tribal elements and influences from the tribes and villages surrounding the area.
Another quality that makes them stand out is that they are made from tightly packed wool that often gives them a heavier handle and plush feel underfoot. This blue rug has a formal quality that is perfect for any room of the home. It will bring a traditional feel to antique furniture or a Grand Millennial style that reimagines classic elements.
The rug’s tribal character makes it perfect for a Boho Chic design. One of the ways that designers are using Persian rugs is to provide contrast in a room of solid, contemporary furniture. The vibrant colors of this rug bring energy to the space and make an excellent addition to any room of the home.
As many are finding the need to set aside space in their home for a home office, rugs are one way to do this. This blue background, finely woven, antique Persian Farahan Sarouk rug, would make an excellent way to define a space for conversation in an open-plan architectural design or to create an inspiring space for creativity and productivity.
We had an amazing experience with Cyrus, Pablo, and David— they went above and beyond and were so patient with helping us find the perfect rugs for our small spaces. They really know everything about every rug (and there are so many!) and clearly are passionate about what they do. We got a beautiful rug for our tiny dining area and a stair runner as well.
